A 6000 word paper. Our everyday interactions and experiences in real life extend way beyond screens. I believe that to encapsulate these nuances and to design for better solutions holistically, breaking the barriers of what is conventionally known as user-interaction or user-experience design is particularly necessary. By studying the body somaesthetically as well as understanding bodily movements and interactions in the context of rituals and practices we inadvertently perform, I aim to achieve the practice of creating meaningful, engaging experiences through informed design and research.
