This year, the festival return to the source of the entire Taoyuan—Daxi District—, with the Dahan River as the main axis.
The sinuous curves, reminiscent of a meandering river, weave through the arches, guiding the viewer’s gaze from corner to corner. The arches are inspired by the physical features of Daxi District in the collective memories of local residents, such as the old streets, bridges, and tunnels. The arches along the curves symbolize the connection between the people of Daxi and their local geography. This imagery can be incorporated into other visual artforms.
