Through visual research, we sought to understand Rei Kawakubo's vision and her way of embodying that vision in her designs through the experimentation of textures, expression of emotions, variety of prints, the use of wide and asymmetrical silhouettes, as well as the techniques to achieve volume. Plastic Kiddy is a design made up of eight meters of woven plastic, recovered from recycled bags. The design was lined with two layers of thick black tulle and the hems were detailed with black bias binding.Everything was mounted on a base lining made of denim.
