Kanawha County Public Library

Kanawha County Public Library in Charleston, WV, wanted to recognize the many community members who generously donated to the library. RSM Design was invited to craft a “Legacy Wall” that reflected the region and the community. Located within the main entry atrium, the vertical installation was situated to invite the visitor to explore all levels of the library. Dye sublimated images of the locally pervasive rhododendron flower were boldly mapped over individual dimensional cubes and woven with donor names etched into a solid surfacing material, creating an ever-changing depth of the wall.
