Entry Description

The inspiration for this table light is twofold: the rocket (from Tintin) for the base and the maritime lighthouse for the illuminating part. The two materials used: aluminum for the tripod and sandblasted glass for the tube. Its cylindrical central part in sandblasted glass allows an excellent 360 degree light diffusion like that of a lighthouse. Indeed, the LED source is concealed which allows a light distribution inside the tube perfectly uniform and soft. The Head in Stars table light is equipped with a 22W LED source and Bluetooth. The lights are covered with a matte paint.

Bio

I entered the realm of furniture design by that most beautiful of doors: that of his dream! Self-taught, I spent my entire career promoting packaging for the pharmaceutical industry. I had always been fascinated by the impact an object can have on the mood and feelings of the purchaser. In his spare time, I design objects, infusing them with the power to convey serendipity: rugs, light fixtures and seating. A few years ago, after an accident, I accelerated destiny by devoting myself to my passion by creating Softicated. I designed dozens of objects and several collections since I started.
