Through her vision of the cruel environment for human existence in the post-apocalyptic world, Yichen Lu designs angular shapes that acts like armor. She also develops prints that abstracts the bio-mechanical nature of imaginary post-apocalyptic creatures. The silhouette and surface design brings together the concept of protection and survival in both physical and symbolic aspect.
