S/Y Être aims to bring a balance to the yachting industry by introducing a 50 ft sailing catamaran that supplements its energy consumption by harnessing the power of the ocean without relying on combustion engine petroleum-based fuel sources. Our proprietary wave power generation system transfers the lateral and vertical momentum of the ocean into a radial motion that powers a series of low RPM motors. This system can generate power at anchor or in open ocean and helps supplement electrical loads of various ships systems.
