Entry Description

Flume is an autonomous cable car designed for San Juan, Puerto Rico in response to overcrowded street traffic causing major congestion. Flume makes getting around easier and faster for users in outlying areas without impeding on an already crowded infrastructure. Each pod includes removable furniture to transport goods to hard to reach areas in less time, with less vehicle transfers. Each cable car is made from high grade recyclable steel, and is outfitted with pinatex pineapple leather made from waste from local agriculture and food production offsetting transportation emissions.
