Entry Description

Each year, the Stonnington Jazz Festival showcases established & emerging Australian jazz performers. With contemporary & trad jazz equally represented, ERD set about creating a flexible brand to encapsulate this trend.

We developed a bold, typographical brandmark, then took the ‘jazz’ palette of red, black and white and evolved it: rich purple navy for established talent, and bright crimson for emerging.

Engaging, energetic, youthful – the new look was pure jazz in design. It struck a chord with client and audiences alike, merging effortlessly across a broad range of applications.
