Museum of Fashion Design & Technology

New York, one of the capitals of the fashion design industry, has a strong history and influence worldwide. Fashion is the power that changed how we live and time-capsule the esthetic, society, and thought of the different periods. The Costume Institute is looking to branch out into a museum space to display its archive and temporary exhibition. The Museum of Fashion Design & Technology is to celebrate the history of American fashion and support the fashion industry in NYC by Combining the local heritage, culture, and craftsmanship into NYC’s urban fabric.

Sheng Wei Yang grew his interest in hospitality, luxury retail, and high-end residential projects. His diverse background in biomedical and fashion design makes him have a different angle and aesthetic when it comes to interior design. Not only focused on hospitality design but also contribute himself and spread his creativity into community service projects and conceptual design projects competition. Mr. Yang graduated with the chairman award from the New York School of Interior Design in 2022, where he earned a degree in Master of Fine Art in Interior Design.
