Break the rules: Zine design

Break the Rules is a zine series which talks about women in the field of design, who broke the rules of the society to reach at the peak of their field. It aims to share stories of such women around the world who have excelled especially in the discipline of Graphic design, Illustration and Photography. Three separate small booklets are bounded together in such a way that the fore- edge of one is adjacent to the spine of the other. In terms of layout, the idea is to give it a sense of balance and rhythm without making everything symmetrical, which can become boring.

I am a versatile designer & a lifetime learner, interested in creating impactful experiences by always seeking to learn something new & exciting. My interests lies in experience design, visual communication and iconography. I want to be able to learn more and bring my ideas and stories into the mainstream worldview & remove the stigmas about women’s health by introducing positive thinking.
