Holistic Wellness of Women in Saudi Arabia An Experiential Journey within the Built Environment “Health is a state of body. Wellness is a state of being.” -J. Stanford The Project ‘bloom’ explores the factors contributing to the holistic wellness of women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Studies have shown that a higher percentage of Saudi women are facing chronic physical and mental complications in Saudi Arabia. The rise of obesity, depression and steep spike in cardiac issues are alarming. Saudi Arabia’s cultural & traditional history along with its social and Islamic norms are explored.
