Entry Description

The intent is to translate the gradient of ASD traits into an architectural experience. First, compartmentalizing the spectrum of sensitivity by focusing on hypo and hyper-sensitivity to offer defined functions and consequent sensory quality. Second, prioritizing sensory zoning and dividing the program into four senses to provide sensory cues. Then, creating spatial sequencing for social interaction to increase predictability and smooth transitions. Finally, providing scape spaces to provide respite from sensory overload.
