This project acts as a conduit for the peoples of Trinidad. It is meant to emphasize the aspects of the culture that bring the people together: music, food, and performance. The intention of Kaiso is to create a cultural center that inspires a connection between the people of the region and throughout Trinidad. The program is designed to attract the local people and tourists so that they may share their experiences to create commonality. In summary, the architecture is designed to facilitate a shared experience thereby encouraging reflection and reciprocity.
