This Nature cover design explores the story behind Project Debater, the first artificial intelligence system that can engage in competitive debates with humans. The goal is to help people build persuasive arguments and make well-informed decisions. The researchers tested their system over various topics, comparing it to multiple baselines and human expert debaters. My design concept combines sound wave shapes with particular collages to deliver how Project Debater can participate in complex human activities using AI technology.
