Marlowe project was meant to transform a 1940 cottage into an elegant family home, without demolishing the building.
The transformation here deserves attention rather than even the final result. There are so many amazing interiors, which most are built that way, but the amount of change within the limits (budget & structure) is this project leverage.
By removing the living room's ceiling and opening up the attic area above it, the house has evolved dramatically. Also, opening the attic areas on the second floor resulted in an extra office, a balcony, and a full bath.
