Entry Description

Spireworks opened its interactive lighting and donation platform to the entire globe on May 20th. In exchange for the donations to Global Giving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund, people could control the iconic building lights of New York City safely from the comfort of their own home, anywhere in the world. 100% of the money raised went to supporting those most vulnerable to the effects of COVID-19, including impoverished communities around the world and essential workers. In a few weeks, over $100,000 was raised worldwide. 100% of the money raised went supporting those most vulnerable.
