This is a debut album of Hong Kong dark ambient band Black Mass // Siren(獻血). I was invited to draw all digital artworks and design album layouts. The concept of cover art were inspired from the album songs’ backstories like missa and acheron. Combined all scenes into one artwork and designed it as a gatefold layout. Hands artwork on the inside page was designed to hold a disc, which represents “embracing life and death” meaning from backstory. Listeners can peruse artworks while listening to the album. Bring them to deeply comprehend and feel about songs’ backstories.
