Entry Description

1 in 3 women in the world have experienced sexual violence in their lives. Discussions about sexual assault largely leaves the long-lasting effects of trauma and secondary trauma experienced by loved ones unspoken. Epione is a toolkit that supports couples who have experienced sexual assault by normalising the effects of trauma and enabling communication. Focused on redefining intimacy, it consists of a grounding device that helps couples cope with overwhelming moments by engaging their senses through synchronised breathing, and a card game that prompts on sharing boundaries and desires.

Bio

Diana Pang is a Hong Kong strategist and designer. Before pivoting into design, Diana spent eight years at investment bank Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. After spending the last few years of her banking career devising strategy through dissecting data, she recognised the power of storytelling and wanted to explore a different array of problems through a more humanistic lens. That desire led her to swap the trading floor for a place at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) to learn about crafting interactions between people and complex systems.
