Entry Description

The correlation between art space and real-world space is broken off by chill and coldness manifested in the marble and metal materials. In our new design, we strive to connect the space with the natural landscape of the local area. The burgundy background of the reception area is an artist-designed installation made of layers of Xuan paper pasted by rice glue, with different shades of red applied to portray shades of wine in glass and paper grain creating wrinkles resembling fold mountains. The palette and form of the space uphold culture and embody the designers’ reverence for nature.
