Entry Description

In the concrete jungle of Hong Kong, the designer sought to create a haven for the client, drawing inspiration from the natural surroundings of their home in Northern California.
The wooden beams and shapes on the feature wall symbolize the forests of California. The decorative logs stir up memories of cozy evenings by the fireplace. The feature wall reminds us of the distant views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. To enlarge the space for gathering, a wall is removed to create a raised family area. It is partitioned by a wide glass railing (11 ft.) accented with flying birds.

Bio

Regina has more than 15 years of experience in interior design, working on a diverse range of projects including large residences, offices, and public spaces. A keen traveller, she is always in search of best boutique hotels and home-furnishing stores around the world. She obtained her Bachelor degree in the Interior Design (honor) from Swinbume of Technology University in Australia and has received a number of interior design awards.
