Entry Description

Cutting a new path for the lawn lovers at Footscray Mowing.

Footscray is a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. Defined by the immense pride that comes with living in Footscray and vibrant arts scene and international cultures.

Our brief was to capture the spirit of Footscray and bring an unmistakable sense of fun and personality to the brand. We created a retro-industrial style illustration, inspired by the popular craft beer/hipster subculture. The playful typography works hand in hand with the illustration and the tagline 'You grow it, we mow it' sets a relaxed, friendly tone for the brand.
