Entry Description

This space had some intrinsic challenges and limitations as well as lots of original detail charm. The loose narrative I followed is that this was a Victorian apartment in London circa 1943. Lots of furniture and built-ins were a bit worn out and grungy looking...some things broke down and had to be replaced with more industrial substitutes. One of the walls crumbled creating a see-through passage into the kitchen. Indian colonial influences could be seen in jubilee island pendant lights and the bedroom headboard. Chinoiserie bedroom night stand lamps also fit into colonial eclecticism.
