Landcom requested an iconic design for a bridge to define the public realm of Lachlan's Line and create a placemaker for the community. The sinuous and spiraling electric blue helical structure responds to this efficiency and delivers a unique design of sculptural quality from both within and outside, enriching the urban domain, meeting the brief in both function and elegance.
Key approach for the bridge was to create an inspired sculpture in the landscape that bridge users experience, whilst providing a unique landmark that cements the identity of the Lachlan’s Line precinct.
