The 1/2 chair is a product, which encourages the act of sharing. It is an everyday chair that on occasion can expand into a bench, which hosts two at a time. The chair's shape indicates its potential use when in it’s closed form. The second chair is always seemingly waiting to be of use to a second person. It creates excitement to share a seat and is erasing the fear of loss in sharing.
