The Sinclair Lounge was designed and built for a collaborative class with Brown Jordan and Arbor Wood Co. Fabricated using a more sustainable and responsible lumber, in this case Thermally Modified Ash. By experimenting with new materials for outdoor usage we can lessen the burden of Teak consumption, which is the primary lumber source for outdoor furniture production. The Sinclair Lounge aims to create cohesion in the visual language of interior and exterior furniture. A Scandinavian truthfulness of materials meets a sleek visual language and stature, to create a timeless and adaptable form.
