IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Early Bird Deadline May 30, 2024
Synonymous with the 1950s and 60s, Googie style architecture and product design represent the fast-paced changes experienced in America during the mid-century. The distinct colors, silhouettes, and motifs of the movement inspired the design of a paper promotion book for Mohawk Fine Papers. To represent Googie's materiality and playfulness, hand die cuts, foils, various papers, short sheets, and tear-out postcards were incorporated throughout. The book is also Wire-O bound by hand, supporting the structural content of the book.
