Entry Description

The OUTLAND Living™ CYPRESS firebowl is a CSA/CE approved 58,000BTU/h (17.5kWh) portable propane camp fire. Environmental considerations: gas combustion is cleaner than wood; burning wood emits haze and releases more CO2 and particulate matter than gas, per unit of measured heat output (US EPA). Importantly, gas has no sparks which can cause wildfires. Materials: carbon steel and SS304. Finish: Durable powder coat; Premium high heat gloss enamel (delivers amazing flame reflections!). End of life recycling and reclamation considerations: easy disassembly; single metal stream recycling programs.

Bio

Chris O'Brien Wheeler, BDes, BCID ACID graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design in Vancouver, BC Canada in 1999. Past President of BC Industrial Designer's Association (BCID) and Past President of the Association of Canadian Industrial Designers (ACID). Currently working with OUTLAND Living™ and OUTLAND Firebowl™ brand divisions of FMI Brands Inc. (Surrey, BC Canada). FMI Brands Inc. is a vertically integrated international organization with design in Canada and manufacturing in China.
