Make A Chair inspires a ritual of active resting, soothing ourselves while engaging our bodies with supportive objects.
The chair is made of ash wood, a superfluous tree found in North America. Because this lumber attracts parasitic insects that destroy the tree and surrounding plant life, it is considered environmentally friendly to cut down the wood and prevent the spread of the invasive bugs.
