This project suggests an adaptive and replicative system based on a nature-inspired pattern modular unit as generator of the form to propose an urban network of public retail markets as a decentralizing means for large commercial nodes within urban centers. Uses as main vehicle the decadent Market of Honduras to establish a new landmark in the city of Santo Domingo, reactivate its social dynamic, and serve as a high visual impact precursor with a different concept of commercial typology, a public market square.
