The design, by Freddie Ostlund, takes inspiration from a combination of hexagonal cues which are formed in nature, a dramatic but elegant shape and transitions which overall is reminiscent of the shape of a Stingray. Hence its name. The shape is formed by two super-imposed hexagons, where one is turned on its axes. The corners are joint by straight lines. The stainless steel handle is an evolved continuation of Edge of Belgravia's hallmark handle design and seeks to combine ergonomic functionality with a striking and yet simplified aesthetic expression reminiscence of a Stingray tail.
