Despite the progress the field of Interior Design has made in being recognized legally as a profession, public perception about the field is slow to evolve. Interior Design, having its’ emphasis on a more evidence-based design approach, is still often confused with the practice of Interior Decoration. The museum will employ experiential learning models through experiential design to educate the public about the practice. Visitors will be plunged into unforgettable and immersive experiences that prompt deeper levels of thought about its impact on the health, safety and welfare of the public.
