The Flourish Chandelier is a modern, organic mobile-style lighting fixture designed by Michele Varian and built in our NYC studio. It is solid brass construction with glass and crystal accents, mimicking flora from Japanese imagery. The fixture is kinetic and moves like a mobile or a plant blowing in the wind. Each individual ornament is hand-constructed and hangs like a ripe fruit, or bursts off of the light like a plume of seeds disseminating into the air. Each functions as both counterweight and contributor to its artful, refractive presentation.
