Entry Description

The Delta in South Asia region of Bengal lies the rich flora and fauna (famous for Royal Bengal tigers and spotted deer) with its tidal halophytic mangrove forest, Sundarbans. The fishermen guided by boat owners come to Dublar Char Island, Sundarbans where they catch, dry and store fish to sell at country markets. Researching on thus environment brings out a lot of culture, space, technology and at the end, the boat with its advanced native technology of binding structure becomes the platforms of new ways of living in sustainable housing environments of the neighborhood.
