This poster series was created to celebrate the 135th year of the invention of electronic fans. I specifically chose the exhibition space to be the New Orleans Museum of Art because electric fans were first invented in New Orleans in 1882. The images in the posters were created using photographs that depict the forms, silhouettes, and motions of each fan. The three fans I used and photographed are very different in size and design, but have similar orientation and visual layouts allowing them to come together as a series. The Korean type was added to promote the exhibition in South Korea.
