Designer - Fernando Prado
Company - Lumini

A pendant luminaire for incandescent bulbs up to 100W or Halolux halogens up to 150W. The lighting system contains a reflector finished in white, with glare control using a circular screen attached to the lower part of the luminaire. Finished in matte white, titanium or black.

This product was designed in order to provide comfortable lighting, avoiding direct glare from the bulb. This versatile luminaire also allows direct lighting to be changed to indirect, diffuse illumination.

As well as efficient glare control, the luminaire is notable for its movement, as the reflector also acts as a counter-weight, thereby creating different lighting effects as the user moves the reflector up and down.

The design grew from the interaction between the user and the luminaire, both in terms of controlling lighting effects and in varying its design. This therefore alters the user?s perception of its form and function.
