The Ascend Studio is a 1,600 sqft transformation of a heritage steel and spare parts workshop, reimagined through bold material play and conceptual depth. Inspired by the idea of dissonance as a form of harmony, the space brings together contrasting elements—reflecting the diverse creatives who work within it. Despite limited natural light, the design maximises illumination and guides visitors through pockets of distinct colours and textures, each evoking different moods. It’s more than a workspace—it’s a sensory journey where inspiration is sparked by the unexpected.
