I draw inspiration from the individualistic approach to packing luggage, highlighting people's diverse methods of organizing their belongings. Inspired by my childhood experiences of hiding personal items (like a pet lizard) from my parents during travel and intrigued by smugglers' tactics, I incorporate concealment elements into her garments and prints, while exploring personal narratives and clandestine motifs.
My name is Yoon Seo Lee, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing and Textiles in South Korea. My academic focus revolves around menswear, with a particular emphasis on workwear and tailored details for my thesis.
