Entry Description

The project is a modern ruin, a futuristic monolith in harmony with the landscape. With solid masses and prominent openings, the house uses a simple color palette and native materials, integrating it with the environment. Casa Toro spans 250m², its geometry of intersecting circles forms cylindrical volumes of pigmented blue concrete that sees itself perforated to create openings towards the cardinal points. Interior spaces allow natural airflow, eliminating the need for air conditioning. Tranfomable architecture is achieved by using sliding wooden screens merge the interior with the exterior.
