Surrounded by various mountains, including Mt. Fuji, the new company building is located in an inland area of one of the few basins in Japan, an island country. The building is a reference to the grape trellis cultivation method that has been popular in this region since ancient times.The architecture contributes to the rediscovery of local values with its large roof that embodies a grapevine trellis, a building system that makes use of the abundant groundwater and photovoltaic power generation that creates more energy than it consumes and generates resources.
