Entry Description

The site of the old Fishermen's Association is connected to the ruins of the Sulphur Exchange, which was a very important economic centre in the early days and the beginning of the industrialisation era in Jinshan. This site has witnessed the rise and fall of the fishing village to the point where only the architectural structure remains, starting from the exposed steel and brick walls. The site is constructed with the concept of time to understand the traditional industries and spirit of a small town through the power of time. It also helps the economic development of the local community.
