Entry Description

After the airport was demolished, it became the largest park in the Taichung metropolitan area. The visitor center is inspired by this and incorporates elements such as airplanes and the airport to recreate the look of the airport in a modern way. The design team took the concept of an airplane journey to show the various areas of the pavilion, telling the public the history of this land under the passage of time, and then incorporating environmental protection and low-carbon issues to create an intelligent, innovative, carbon-reducing, and interesting visitor center.
