LAT Eco-Lodge is a context-driven mountain retreat on the northern hillside with minimal site impact. Modular units emerge organically from the terrain. Parts of each sloped roof serve as shared terraces for upper units, echoing vernacular terraced settlements. Built with glulam timber and native “Lat” technique, roofs are insulated with local “Foush” soil, which compacts and becomes more impermeable with foot traffic. The project links landscape, material culture, and spatial continuity.
