Entry Description

The installation known as “Conch” Forest Sounded graces the picturesque tea gardens of Zhanghu Village, nestled in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. Drawing inspiration from the evocative image of a conch shell—an enduring symbol of protection and transformation—this artwork emerges from a collaborative effort among local community residents, dedicated school teachers, enthusiastic students, and talented artists. Furthermore, the installation is a thoughtful response to the region's unique geological characteristics.
