Entry Description

The Light(car)house in a little provincial town is a public parking tower next to the Eumseong-gun government Office. It breaks away from the typical figure of an industrial building and provides a bright and cheerful design for residents visiting or passing by the public car house. Through the perforated aluminum panel and horizontal louvers, nature and people become a part of landscapes in the rhythm of the mountains. During the day, natural light allows to come into the car house and at night, artificial light comes through this tower like light house. It becomes a light-guard for citizens.
