The Voyage Chapel is elegantly situated at Xi Lake in Ling Shui, Hainan, China, positioned one-third along the cycling route that encircles the lake. This central location within the lake offers visitors stunning panoramic views of the picturesque surroundings.
Inspired by the rhythmic sea waves nearby and the tranquil lake views to the west, juxtaposed with the bustling urban thoroughfare to the east, the design of the Voyage Chapel presents a wave-like architectural form. At the southern tip of the triangular site, a tall tower rises, becoming the tallest structure near the lake’s shore.
