Queensway Canopy is a public housing development in Singapore. Designed with health and wellness in mind, the design responds sensitively to the adjacent Rail Corridor, a green recreational passage. The project features a new unit type - Community Care Apartments – and employs dementia-inclusive design, to support ageing-in-place for residents. A Social & Wellness Hub co-locates a Town Gym with a Childcare Centre and Active Ageing Centre, to offer age-friendly amenities for all. The design fosters active, connected, and inter-generational public housing communities set amidst lush greenery.
