KST Connect strengthens ties between the Kelly Strayhorn Theater (KST) and East Liberty. Since 1914, KST has championed diverse and experimental performances that support artists of color. Yet lingering stereotypes still label East Liberty as “unsafe.” I created a rewards app that links theater visits with local businesses—transforming single trips into cultural exploration while fostering trust and community connection.
