Nicholas House stands as a staple within its community of Grant Park in Atlanta, GA. Serving as an influential nonprofit family shelter in the area, an expansion of their existing building was required as the city transitions from temporary to permanent solutions. The design of this addition brought a unique collaboration between student and client to achieve a buildable solution. The constraints of a buildable solution dictated the allocation of program and function to achieve an equitable balance of meeting future needs while providing the qualities of a home for those who need it most.
