The Komera Leadership Center in rural eastern Rwanda offers health, education, and mentorship for young women, and serves as a hub for families and community gatherings. Located by the main road and village football pitch, it features a flexible hall with panels that create classrooms or open to host events. Inspired by local Imigongo art, its design includes woven eucalyptus screens and brick patterns. Built with local materials and 40% female labor, the project provided skills training, fair wages, and community involvement throughout.
